User Management
eSilo provides a simple User Management system that allows you to break up your storage into user sectioned spaces. Normally, a user is created per computer to help separate each computer's storage.
By default, only the data administrator can access the other users within an eSilo account. There
can only be one data administrator per account, which is created during account activation. An unlimited number of users can be created at no additional charge.
Accessible User
The data administrator can allow certain users to access other users under the account. This is
known as an Accessible User.
In the example above, the "silvia" user has been granted access to "kelly"'s files. Silvia can
backup to and restore from kelly's backup.
Archives
A user's archives indicates how many versions to maintain of their files. The default setting
is 10 versions. This means that once the 11th version is detected during a backup, eSilo will
remove the oldest version. At anytime, you can restore older versions from your archive by selecting
them from the "My History" folder.
