The instructions below will help you search your computer for files or folders to backup with eSilo. Steps 2 and 3 are optional but will increase your chances of finding everything you are looking for. For help determining what file extensions or file names you should be searching for, depending on what applications you use, see our FAQ page.

1. Click the Start button, select Search, and then select For Files or Folders.
2. From the Tools menu, select Folder Options.
3. From the View tab, select Show Hidden Files and Folders and click Okay.
4. Enter the name of the file or folder to search for; "find-me.doc" used as an example.
5. Click the Search Now button.
