File Level Restore – Backup Browser

Error:  Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows. Failed to start a repository agent.

What This Means

  • The repository containing the restore point that needs to be mounted for recovery is unable to be accessed.

Possible Causes

  • This message may appear when the repository or cloud connect environment is running in maintenance mode.

Troubleshooting Steps

  • Once the maintenance window is over attempt to access the Backup Browser again.
  • Contact eSilo Support if you see this error repeatedly or if you are unaware of any maintenance work.
