Job Error: Unable to allocate processing resources

Job session for “BackupJobName” finished with fault. Unable to allocate processing resources. Error: Job session with id [LONG_ID] does not exist.

This error occurs when a job waits too long for backup resources to be allocated and times out.

This is usually caused when a customer has a slow Internet connection and one backup is holding up another because of the concurrent task limit.

To reduce the chance of this issue occurring, it is recommended for the task limit to be configured for a minimum of 2 concurrent jobs, even on the slowest connection.

Additionally, avoid manually executing backup jobs. Backup jobs started manually will still wait for resources to be allocated, and they will prevent other jobs from starting automatically. A manually executed backup job will not automatically retry if the job fails or if the backup window is exceeded.
